What expertise you will bring:
* DBA for all Database servers within Australia
* Assist in design and development of interfaces between data sources
* Development of management reporting
* Provide support for all trading systems
* Selection and implementation of new applications

5 years experience in:
* Microsoft windows 2000/2003
* SQL Server 2000/2005
* Oracle 8i, 9i, 10g Database platforms
* Application development (C#.Net)

Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
* Microsoft/Oracle certification or equivalent knowledge and experience

You will be asked to use your strong DBA skills to assist in driving forward change and further development of existing systems. You will be called upon to provide guidance and offer recommendations for combining data from different sources to ensure consistency across multiple platforms.
The environment operates 24/7, with possibilities for travel domestically and internationally. The role would suit someone who loves flexibility and is not suited to a typically 9-5 role.
